There’s been great enthusiasm for the opening of registration for the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Running Festival, which will be held on December 6th and 7th among the splendid Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Starting on February 8th, registrations were greeted with extraordinary euphoria, exceeding 500 participants in just two days.
These numbers speak to a genuine passion for the event: 52% of those registered are women, demonstrating the event’s strong female vocation, while 63% come from abroad. Of the more than 540 current entrants, more than 340 runners will come from 29 European countries (leading from Estonia, Poland, Austria, and Germany) as well as non-European countries such as Australia and Canada, confirming the event as a major international event, capable of attracting athletes and running enthusiasts from every corner of the world.
The Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Running Festival is more than just a race, but a true sports and tourism experience taking place in an iconic landscape. Along the four routes—the Ultra Trail 51km, Marathon 42km, Half Marathon 21km, and Bollicina 10km—participants will pass through the cellars, hills, and vineyards that have shaped the history of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG, immersed in a unique setting that combines sport, nature, culture, and typical local products.
The opening of registrations highlights the growing popularity of this event, which, with its mix of athletic challenges, natural beauty, and food and wine, establishes the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Running Festival as one of the most anticipated running events of the year.
