Exciting first edition of the event, concluding a weekend of events dedicated to women’s issues
A spectacular first edition of Pieve in Rosa, with 2,000 women and men (registrations sold out) who ran and walked through the streets and squares of Pieve di Soligo.
This morning, Sunday, March 9, the race started at 10:00 a.m., covering two routes: 5km and 10km, through the city center, squares, and streets, also passing through the towns of Barbisano and Solighetto, to the finish line in Piazza Caduti nei Lager, where a collective warm-up to music took place before the start.
A large turnout, not only for outdoor sports but also for solidarity: part of the proceeds from the event will be donated to LILT – Vittorio Veneto Delegation for the purchase of a vehicle to transport cancer patients.
At the end, the awards ceremony was held for the largest groups: Book Lovers Club (189), Schiratti Pharmacy (169), Veloci…ma no massa (110), Solighetto Nursery School (87), and We Jump (55).
A WEEKEND OF EVENTS
Pieve in Rosa wasn’t just about running: the initiative’s program kicked off on Friday, March 7, at 8:30 pm in the Battistella Moccia Auditorium, with an evening dedicated to women’s health, organized by the Lilt Association, featuring speakers of significant professional and human importance: “Healthy Women Today. Beyond Challenges and Frontiers, a New Approach to Oncology,” featuring Christian Rizzetto, director of the Treviso-Vittorio Veneto Breast Unit, Nicoletta La Mura, medical director of the Oncology Unit, Vittorio Veneto Hospital, and Valentina Girardi, director of the Psychologist, Vittorio Veneto Hospital.
The next event was held on Saturday, March 8th at the Teatro Cinema Careni, again at 8:30 pm, with the Concert by the Choir and Orchestra – Note di Vita Rosa “NON SIAMO SOLE,” a new choir founded at the end of 2022 composed entirely of women who believe in female solidarity and community service.
Finally, on Sunday, March 9th, the traditional Alta Marca skewer (takeaway) was prepared by an all-female team for the event.
SAVNO IN ROSA
Pieve in Rosa 2025 supported “Savno in Rosa,” an initiative created by the waste collection and disposal company in collaboration with the RicreartiLab laboratory to support women (victims of violence) protected by Domus Nostra. Savno in Rosa involves women in need in hands-on workshops for making bags using recycled materials, offering them the opportunity to learn new skills. At the collection point manned by Savno operators and set up on Saturday and today, it was possible to drop off materials such as clean broken umbrella covers (only the fabric), PC power cables, cell phone chargers, mouse pads, clothing linings (e.g., jackets), and various accessories: zippers, sliders, bag feet, buttons (not branded).

We strongly supported this weekend organized by the Councilor for Equal Opportunities Valentina Lucchetta, whom I thank for her dedication and for organizing these three days full of events related to raising awareness of women’s issues, culminating with this celebration that makes us proud to do something positive for LILT and for research.
The response is evident in this high level of participation and commitment from the volunteers of all the associations involved.
