Italy’s First Women-Only Half Marathon
Founded in 2014 with the aim of promoting physical activity, raising awareness about prevention, and providing tangible support for research into women’s health, Corri in Rosa has grown over the years into one of the Veneto region’s most widely supported charity events and a national benchmark for events dedicated to women. Edition after edition, thousands of participants have chosen to run or walk together, turning every registration into a meaningful act of solidarity. Thanks to the generosity of participants, the invaluable work of volunteers, and the support of partners and sponsors, Corri in Rosa has raised significant funds over the years for women’s health projects, contributing to the purchase of medical equipment and supporting scientific research.
Today, after more than ten years, Corri in Rosa is ready to take the next step.
On 8 November 2026, in San Vendemiano, alongside the traditional event, the Corri in Rosa Women Half Marathon will make its debut—the first women-only half marathon in Italy. For the first time, female runners will have the opportunity to compete in an official 21-kilometre race created exclusively for women, in an event that celebrates women’s talent, passion, and determination. This new initiative represents an important evolution of the event, created to further promote women’s running and offer athletes a dedicated race that combines sporting excellence, participation, and social commitment. The new half marathon perfectly reflects the spirit that has always defined Corri in Rosa. Its mission remains unchanged: every registration will continue to support fundraising for research and projects dedicated to women’s health.
On 8 November, the event will once again be a celebration open to everyone, combining the traditional non-competitive run and walk with a new competitive race designed to attract female athletes from across Italy. With this initiative, Corri in Rosa aims to become a new benchmark for women’s running in Italy, reaffirming that sport is a powerful vehicle for participation, inclusion, and solidarity.
Registration opens on Monday, 20 July. Full details are available online at corrinrosa.run.
